Scotts Valley Performing Arts Theater Camp for Kids

Create theatre magic this summer at The Landing, Scotts Valley’s Performing Arts Center. Led by Instructors with the Scotts Valley Performing Arts, they are seasoned theatre teachers who are very involved in the local theatre community. The two week camp is designed to teach students aged 8-14 years basic theatre skills including: Voice, Movement, Character, Improvisation and Mime. The class teaches cooperation, respect, collaboration, and self-confidence. These are skills students can use throughout their education and into their careers as adults. There will also be a section on Musical theatre with voice and dance and a theme day on Shakespeare.
